Make-Your-Own-Brownsea

Our Scoutmaster and Asst. Scoutmasters were not very impressed with Tomahawk's Brownsea so the troop came up with an idea that we could have some of the first class or star rank boys to teach Brownsea to the younger boys trying to get to tenderfoot, second class and first class.

Anthony - Counselor In Training

Because of Anthony's CIT work at Tomahawk, he will not be present at the following meetings from June 17th to July 7th.

Connor's Birthday Dessert Cook-Off

On May 7th we celebrated Connor's birthday by having both patrols cook a dessert for the Scoutmaster and Asst. Scoutmasters to judge. However there was a Catch, whatever the dessert was it had to include canned peaches. We had a whale of a time cooking (and eating) the desserts. In the end the judges claimed it too close to call a winner.

This is a list of several of the things Troop 66 would like to do in the future that we can't do at the moment.

1. Older Boys To Camp Philmont.
2. Camp On Top Of The First Bank Building Like Troop 66 Did In The 1980's.
3. Scuba Diving. (Who is looking into this?)
4. Unit Camping Trips.
5. A Sewing Night Where Scouts Learn How To Sew On Their Own Patches.
6. Canoeing
7. Kayaking
8. Fishing
